First Baptist Church Verden exists as a group of Christ followers engaged in the evangelism and discipleship by using their spiritual gifts to provide outreach, ministry, education, worship, and fellowship in a corporate setting as well as their personal lives. Acts 2:42-47-Proposed Mission Statement:
We will strive to advance the Kingdom of God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. We make it our mission to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We will love others as we would ourselves while showing such love through service and grace.
